I’m leaving, quitting, stopping…you get the idea.

As I have mentioned before in previous posts, I have lost interest in blogging. I’m still into my fandoms, but I can’t bring myself to blog. Mostly because I am lazy and I don’t have the motivation to do it. So I lied that I would blog X Shina to the end. >.<;;

Hah, I’m quitting before Yasashii Uta’s anniversary. >3< Well technically I haven’t really blogged for a whole year since I hardly blogged at all in the later half. Failed at Weekly Stuff, failed at Monthly Updates, failed at Angel Beats!…eh, I’m getting a bit pessimistic. ~_~ At least I was able to blog Watashi ni xx Shinasai! somewhat consistently. xD;

I’m going to leave this site up in case I randomly want to come back to it someday to use for some other purpose. You can still catch me at my Twitter, LiveJournal, and Tumblr (and a bunch of other places on the internet). Actually I might post some of my thoughts on anime and manga on my LiveJournal, just in a more casual way since whenever I’m on wordpress I feel like I have to be “formal” or something. OTL

Wow…it ended. >: I had mixed feelings about this series, but I really did enjoy watching it.

Compared to previous Key animes, I felt that Angel Beats! was a disappointment. The biggest flaw was the pacing. Comedy and drama had to be forced and rushed in some of the episodes, so it didn’t quite feel right sometimes. Also a lot of things had to be cut out, which led to plot holes and things left unexplained. 13 episodes wasn’t enough to show AB! to it’s fullest potential, and I agree with many others that it should had been 22-24 episodes. Gah, I feel like punching whoever limited Angel Beats! to be only 13. =~=

The thing I love the most about Angel Beats! is its music. Maeda does a great job composing music, and Key’s music is one of the minor reasons why their works are amazing. The opening My Soul, Your Beats! is beautiful (along with its animation sequence) and the ending Brave Song is nice to listen to as well. The Girls Dead Monster insert songs are okay, but some of them were quite catchy. The BGMs are awesome, especially the BGM for the 6th PV and Ichiban no Takaramono. I can’t wait for the OST~! >~<

I really liked all of Angel Beats!’s characters. Sometimes I liked Yurippe and sometimes I didn’t (like in episode 5) but she is a great leader and character. I hope people have stopped thinking she is another Haruhi when she is definitely not, since I’m quite tired of hearing that. Kanade was cute, but she isn’t my favorite character in AB! like many others. Otonashi was a great male protagonist, but I think it was Hiroshi Kamiya’s voice that made me like him. Hinata was my favorite character because…I don’t know really. Maybe it’s because he’s funny, a brother-like support for the team, or I just like blue-haired anime guys XP. Yui was annoying most of the time, but after awhile I started to like her (especially during episode 10). And Naoi is a hilarious character and it was hard for me to dislike him.

Overall Angel Beats! was fun to watch, but it is far from being a Key masterpiece. The comedy made me laugh hard (coughrocketchairscough) and the character’s past made me feel bad for them (but most of them didn’t make me sad to the point of crying). I really wished it had been 20ish episodes, but there is nothing we can do about it. >:

Truthfully…I pretty much have lost interest in blogging. I’m still into animanga, tweet on Twitter sometimes (I don’t do it as much as when I first started, actually I talk on my Facebook a lot more), but I just can’t bring myself to continue Weekly Stuff, or even Monthly Updates since I don’t really have much to talk about in those. >:

I think I’m just going to stick to blogging X Shina since I already can’t keep up with blogging Angel Beats! weekly. (I plan to have a Final Impressions post on it when AB! ends though) Watashi ni xx Shinasai! was pretty much the only series I’ve been following and blogging from the beginning, and I think that it would just suck if I stopped blogging it now. So I at least want to keep on blogging it until it ends before I plan to leave the blogosphere.

Oh, I changed my header to the girl from the illusionary world in Clannad. I could had added the text saying the song and stuff (totally could had used MagMell), but since I thought I would be inactive for a while I’m just leaving it like that so I can use it for several months.

Okay, this turned into my usually rambling excuse of why I’m not blogging much blah blah blah. Um, this post will just have a fewer pictures than I usually use, and for once I will write summaries since I don’t feel like talking a lot on a bunch of moments.

Chapter 12:

We left off from Yukina watching Shigure and Mami be happy with each other. Her heart hurts and she goes to the school’s doctor to see what is wrong with it, but it settles down really quickly.

Then we see Shigure and Mami greet the bald teacher. Students talk about how Mami was sick and how she seems really close to Shigure. Yukina then thinks that Shigure is “boring” because she thinks that he likes Mami and shows his true side to Mami.

During lunch, Shigure and Mami are walking down a hallway and Yukina says that she needs to talk to Shigure alone. Shigure leaves Mami, and Shigure and Yukina go to the rooftop to talk. There, Yukina says that she is quitting the love game with Shigure because she is no longer interested in him. Shigure gets mad and says he won’t quit it and he will get Yukina to fall in love with him.

Yukina then laughs and the next mission is to hold her like a princess. Shigure holds her up, but Yukina is scared so he plays around with her. Mami secretly watches them though.

They fall down to the floor, exhausted. Shigure says he doesn’t want Yukina to say that she is losing interest in them. They move closer and closer to each other, but then the school intercom calls for Shigure to return to the student council room. Shigure leaves and Mami appears saying she wants to have a talk with Yukina.

Felt meh about this cover, even though I did say last time that I wanted to see another splash page with Akira on it. Smiling Akira >>>>>> hawt Akira IMO. Now I can tell that his eye color is purple. I know that his hair is white, but I’m wondering what other hue it is. Lately it’s been kinda pinkish…

Glad that Yukina is not jealous of Mami and Shigure being together, as I was afraid that the typical thing would happen. She thinks that Shigure is boring instead. XDDDDDDD Her expression is awesome.

I was kinda meh on this chapter and I was too lazy to blog it separately earlier.

Chapter 13:

Mami wants to talk to Yukina and says that she will cheer on Yukina. Yukina says she doesn’t want her support and walks back.

In the classroom Yukina is thinking of ideas for her cellphone novel, and Mami cheerfully bombards Yukina with questions. Yukina thinks she is annoying. Akira and Shigure enter, and Mami tells Shigure that she and Yukina became friends. Yukina angrily denies it and Mami and Shigure part from Akira and Yukina. Yukina forgot her novel ideas because of Mami.

Mami and Shigure are having lunch in the student council room. Mami talks about how Shigure is with Yukina because of the love game. She then wonders if Shigure really likes Yukina. Shigure shouts that he isn’t and then changes the subject asking Mami how she is at school. Mami says she is fine as long as she’s with him.

Yukina is trying to escaping from Mami following her so she can think of novel ideas in peace. She meets Shigure and hides with him in the boy’s changing room. No one will disturb them there since Shigure has the key.

Mami is looking for Shigure and figures out from the teacher where he is since the key is missing. As she leaves, the teachers talk about how she’s a good girl.

Back at the changing room, Yukina is coming up with ideas and missions.Yukina then tells Shigure that his next mission is to bit her on the neck. Shigure is really shocked and embarrassed. He’s hesitating to do it, and Yukina says that she will get Akira to do it since he’s not doing it now. Shigure gets mad, saying not to mention his name when they are alone. He then lays her down and slowly goes in to bite her neck. Yukina says it hurts and he quickly pulls away. He apologizes and leans on her shoulder, saying he can’t do the game like this.

Outside Mami is sitting outside, aware of what just happened. She says that Shigure belongs to herself.

Yukina is so enthusiastic about her novel. XDDD Chibi Yukina goes omnomnomnom SLURP on her juice, oh wait it’s a milk box.

I still think that Mami is kinda cute. Many are totally bashing on her, though at the end of this chapter I start to dislike her. Mami should learn that it’s a bad idea to bug the snow-woman with questions.

Chibi Yukina is not pleased. She goes RAWR!!!!

Finally they mention Akira’s surname: Shimotsuki. I only knew it before from the “about the characters” section in the beginning of the chapters and the japanese wikipedia article on Watashi ni xx Shinasai!

Shigure’s head/face looks weird sometimes. Err…idk what to think about their relationship. Mami likes Shigure, Shigure might or might not like Mami. They do get along well though.

Yukina is super desperate to get away from Mami. XDDD

I thought that Shigure looks cool here. XD; He’s blushing~ X3

First they have been alone in the gym storage room, and now the boy’s changing room. You would think that something dirty would happen in there…

Urk here we go again. Teachers think that Mami is a perfect little girl, just like how they say that Shigure is the perfect guy. UGH

And throughout the story Mami makes some dark creepy faces with the bangs over her eyes.

Yukina. Is. So. Adorable~~~~~ Her notebook has a yuki usagi!

Now I thought of Mai from Kanon. If X Shina had an anime, I would want Yukari Tamura (who voiced Mai), Nana Mizuki, or Chiwa Saito to voice Yukina.

This shows that Mami will be the creepy jealous biatch. Some say that she will be yandere, but I don’t think any killings will happen like School Days. o_O

I still can’t get over how pretty chapter 13′s cover is. I want to color it, but I don’t think I will be very good at it. I’m only used to coloring small things so far, and I have no idea what colors to choose. >~<; I hope that there will be a good splash page soon.

My most anticipated series of spring is here! I looked forward to Angel Beats! mostly because of Key, ahaha~ So far it looks pretty good. The art, animation, and music is nice. I hope the story won’t be a disappointment. =) (But I’m sad that this episode didn’t come with an opening sequence T.T)

Our protagonist, Otonashi, (voiced by the awesome Hiroshi Kamiya~) wakes up in the afterlife, so he had died before.

I don’t really have much to say about him after seeing this episode. But Hiroshi Kamiya voicing him is love~ <3

Everyone keeps on saying how Yuri is like a Haruhi clone, and it’s just really irritating to keep on hearing that. I can definitely see the Haruhi-ness in her, but she is not quite like Haruhi either.

Her seiyuu is Harumi Sakurai (who also voices Saya Tokido in Little Busters! Ex under the name Kazane).

Also, this series gives out strange names. >_>

Tenshi/Angel (depending on how you want to call her, but I will call her Tenshi for now) voiced by Kana Hanazawa. She is mysterious and emotionless, similar to Yuki as people have said before.

Now I wonder why she is called “Angel”. She is called Tenshi among the SSS members, but she isn’t an actual angel?

I would had gotten this post out earlier, but I was just extremely lazy from 1) being on spring break (which is already ending now TT__TT) and 2) my absence from blogging. The good thing is that I can blog Angel Beats! during the weekend when I won’t be busy like during the weekdays in school. But I will try to use less screencaps as you can already see that I took too many. ^^;

Whoa, I like practically forgot I had a blog. I almost would had stopped blogging there. ^^; I guess I’ve been focused on other interests and ignored my blog orz. Well when Angel Beats! comes I should be more active. (Though I still feel nervous about blogging a series that will receive a lot of attention).

Of course it’s not a surprise that I made an Angel Beats! header. I based it off of the end of the recent promo vid, and from the video I found out that the opening song will be “My Soul, Your Beats!” by Lia. Yay that Lia will be singing the opening, but since Lia usually sings pretty~ songs I wonder how the opening will turn out since Angel Beats! is more of an actiony anime.

I was going to use promo pics, but that didn’t work out too well. So I just used Na-Ga’s drawings. ^^;

I told myself that I was going to scan a bunch of old and probably crappy drawings over the break and make an art dump post. So far I haven’t done it yet, ahaha~ But I did upload some colored art, which I forced myself to do since I was drawing for a friend.

Oh what’s the point of having an “upcoming events” section if I don’t have a clear idea of what will happen? Yeah, I just realized that now. ^^; OTL Speaking of upcoming events, I know that I will have a dance performance around the middle of April. And my spring break will end soon (noooooooooooooo T_T). I really need to focus on piano this month since my piano test is coming in May. I rarely practice and I’m not doing too well memorizing my songs. Ahhhhh. Ack, I forgot what else I wanted to say, so this pretty much served as my usual Upcoming Events section.

And I got this Monthly Update post out early because I’m going to San Francisco with my family tomorrow. Bye~

So we look into Akira’s (tragic) past, which brings back the return of chibi Yukina and Akira. And a look at his parents. >_>

On Akira’s 4th birthday, his parents get into an accident. After hearing the news, chibi Akira runs into middle of the road and almost gets hit by a car.

I would sympathize Akira for losing his parents. But seriously, running into the middle of the road, even after something bad has happened, is so STUPID.  He must had seriously been out of his mind to do that. But if he’s going to cry about it he should cry in his house, not on the path of a car zone. =_____=#

Chibi Yukina-chan somehow manages to push Akira out of the way. (they do not look like 4 year olds; they look younger than that o.0) Akira gets his life saved, and really admires Yukina after that. OTL

Here’s a treat for Akira x Yukina fans. I’ll just watch from afar…. ._.

Really, I just can’t imagine them together as lovers. And it’s not because they are cousins.

Back at school, Shigure thinks of dirty thoughts of their sleep over. XD; I would lose all respect for Akira if he actually did it.

Shigure tries to get Yukina to look at him by trying to kiss her. That just doesn’t seem right now because neither one had really confessed to each other yet. But their moment gets ruined by…

…Mami. @_@

She probably collapsed on purpose. It makes sense if she did since she wants to be with him.

He even carries her bridal style. Must mean they are really close.

From this, we find out that Shigure and Mami are childhood friends and that Shigure possibly likes her. This description made me upset because Mami sounds like a typical cliched love rival. I still need to see more Mami moments before I decide if I will hate her or not.

Yup, they are very close indeed. I think Mami looks cute though, but nothing really given of her personality. She kind of looks like a character drawn by Noizi Ito, like Sumomo from Nanatsuiro Drops or Yui from Flyable Heart.

And Yukina gets depressed from finding out there is someone else close to him. I don’t think she is jealous yet, but she is definitely upset.

I can see how some people thought X Shina was “unique” in the beginning and is now starting to get cliched. It seems to be going downhill now. D= I miss Yukina’s blackmailing~ :<

I’m sure everyone knows that I am ridiculously inactive on my blog. So I will just announce that I’m on an obvious hiatus.  I totally forgot to work on a March Monthly Update, and since I am already busy I don’t have time to make a proper new header or post. OTL TT~TT

My spring break starts on the 15th so I will have a lot of free time at that time. I doubt I will motivate myself to blog or anything. But along with my usual X Shina posts, I decided to blog Angel Beats! when it comes out.  I was debating in my head whether I should blog it or not, but then I thought I might as well should try some episodic blogging because I’m a Key fan (and I shouldn’t try to worry about who reads my posts ^^;). It also might help me be a more regular blogger since in the past that’s what my Weekly Stuff was for. Eh heh~

Anyways, I’ll see you later~ Until then I’m booked with projects.

(What next, Mami copies Akira? -shot-) He is really getting on my nerves now, trying to almost force Yukina to look at him. I like my Akira-kun smiling, not his usual “hawt one-eye glare”.

I hope the last line about Lilia is not referring to Akira. =( AGHHH NOOOO

Woot, 10th chapter out. Still eager to learn about MAMI~! From here on, I wonder what will happen. (and what will the next “missions” be. Is Tooyama-sensei ever going to run out of ideas? XD)

Oh by the way, I’m too lazy to resize the individual pages. For some reason the pictures look fined scaled down in my dashboard, but they look weird when posted. Ugh =3=

Ahhh, first late Monthly Update so far. T^T I just spent some time making a new header today (because I had no idea what to do before) and this was just written now. January had been pretty meh; hopefully February will be a better month for me. =3

New Header:

Hooray, a header that is finally not a simple text-on-promo-image banner~! =D But it’s my old method of blending pictures I find together. ^^; I like how it turned out, but I don’t like the text (not exactly the font itself). Also I was trying to find a new font since Comic Sans is way overused anyways. I’m not sure if I will keep this one or not though. =/

So since February reminds people of Valentine’s Day, this header is dedicated to Sakura and Syaoran, the best couple ever! Yume no Tsubasa is a nice song, especially the duet version. I’ve heard it so many times before that now it sounds cheesy to me. XD Yui Makino has such an angelic voice~ (I decided not to put “Duet Version” with Miyu Irino, that would just look weird)

Gah! I totally forgot to update my LiveJournal. TT~TT Seriously, I draw in class like allllll the time. They are just sketches on lined or scratch paper though. >.> Um, maybe I’ll post more tablet sketches instead of scanned sketches there. I could use practice as always. ^^;

Also, which color scheme do you prefer for my braided twintail OC? Lavender and cyan or pink and yellow. The other scheme is used for a very similar OC.

Upcoming Events:

First a look back at January. I have new classes now, and they are okay so I don’t have much to say about them. My attempt to stop procrastinating failed though. In the beginning I was able to do my math first before other stuff, then I just started procrastinating on everything (including math and easy homework) till late at night. OTL Hopefully I’ll work on it this month.

Okay, like I mentioned earlier, Valentines Day soon~ I’m not really going to do anything for it, so yeah…. And also Chinese New Year, which starts on *looks up the date* …February 14th! Okay, I did not know that and I am like really surprised now. 0_______________0

I have THREE Chinese dance performances this month. One is going to be this Saturday for a Chinese New Year celebration, on the 14th my group enters a dance competition (on that day of all days, really? -_-), and the last one is another New Year celebration at my sucky Chinese school. Bleh, busy weekends. @_@

Okay, so that’s it for now. I’m gonna try to get my X Shina post early, near when the chapter comes out! >w<

Next time I should make my X Shina posts earlier >.< When I first saw the raws for this chapter, I was fangirling like crazy. Now…I barely have any thoughts ._.

YAY~! Yupina is number one again! But again, it bugs me how a simple love triangle boosts her ranking. As a fan, I get irritated when love rivals appear in stories. (We want our shippings to come true after all~ >.>;)

So…we now know Mami Mizuno is a sickly girl and has some sort of relationship with Shigure. (not exactly a romantic relationship, but yeah…)

I love the Shigure-Akira hate vibes between the two. Ahahahaha~

So Shigure gets…um, irritated (I guess) over that and Yukina is just fine with it (since Akira is her cousin). Kukukuku…it does bother Shigure. >w<

Okay, what the heck is Shigure doing here? He doesn’t seem to be hugging her…so he’s just like leaning on her shoulder? o.0

Wow, he’s saying the same lines Yukina said in the beginning of the story. You copycat! XD

I should be fangirling at this point because it shows that Shigure is falling for Yukina, since he gets annoyed at Akira taking her away. But now I’m just like staring at my monitor. 0_0
